Ridiculously great. Please open a Kasra in Austin, because It's perfect in every way. First off... Their hummus is the best you will ever taste. Next up was the Persian salad. The greatest. Then we had the stew with tomato/eggplant with chicken breast and the cod kabobs with veggies. It doesn't get any better than this. Nice job Kasra.

Honestly the only Persian restaurant that I have been to, but also will be the only one that I will continue to go to. The food here is absolutely amazing, everything is super well flavored, tender and melts in your mouth. The hummus here is the best hummus I've ever tried, and whenever you dine-in, you can get full off just eating all the bread they give you and the hummus dip. The ambiance inside is also super beautiful, with nice lighting and spacious seating. The kubideh combo is my go to dish, as I can try both the beef and chicken, and as mentioned before, it is super flavorful and tender. The rice with the melted butter is also delicious.

My son in law and I visited Kasra Persian Grill in the Westchase area yesterday for lunch. It was a great experience. He had seen the restaurant on some Instagram reviewers page and I had remembered it from one of the past Top 100 lists from the Chronicle food critic. We started with three dips - a hummus, a yogurt cucumber dip and one with eggplant. It was served with Persian Flatbread called Taftoon. The hummus and yogurt dips were very good, and the flatbread was fine, but I think I really like Naan or Pita better than this version. We then ordered both Chicken and Beef Kubideh Kabags (these are ground meat kabobs) along with a Chicken Barg kabob. The Chicken Barg is a very moist chicken breast. We also ordered the Khorake Karafs (Celery, Onion, Mint & Parsley stew) with a lamb shank on top. All of the meat was top notch, very flavorful, and good sized portions. Neither of us cared for the Celery Stew. The Instagram guy raved about it, so we tried it, and wouldn't order it again. Perhaps one of the other stews. The Basmati rice was just right, and the service was friendly and attentive. The space was large and well lit and bustling at lunchtime. If we ever find ourselves hungry and in that part of town, Kasra would certainly garner a return visit. Very flavorful comforting food.

I haven't been to Kasra in a while. The new renovated room and bathrooms are a breath of fresh air. Inviting, open and with beautiful decor! Service was awesome and food was excellent! The hummus of course never disappoints. We love Kasra and hope to visit sooner than later!

Really great spot! It's decorated really nicely in there and is a very nice vibe. The service was great, and the food was very good with BIG portion sizes. We had some pita and the shirazi salad which were good! After that we got some Persian tea, which was so yummy as well. For the main course, I got the beef kubideh and cranberry rice, which was DELICIOUS. The kubideh had such a wonderful flavor. It was also HUGE portions, so I was able to make lunch out of it the next day as well. So good! Highly recommend!

Wow! What a gem! Very reasonably priced, delicious food in a scrupulously clean, nicely decorated restaurant. Got the lamb chenjeh with a side of grilled vegetables and gormeh sabzi, and everything was excellent. My server was attentive and quick to refill my iced tea. Will certainly be back next time I'm in town

I'm not super familiar with middle eastern food but I will say everything we got was delicious! The kebabs were so tender, flavorful, and juicy. The rice was so fragrant. We also got two appetizers each of which came with 3 pieces of bread. The hummus was nice and tangy and the kashke bademjan had a beautiful refreshing flavor. We didn't dine in but we did go inside the restaurant and it was beautiful. The staff is also friendly and welcoming. For the amount of food we ordered the service was also fast, about a 25 minute wait. Also important to note, for the amount of food we got the price was fair bc it was at least 10 lbs of food! I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return again!

Delicious Persian food! I came with some friends for a birthday dinner, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the lamb shank, which came with fava bean/dill rice. The lamb was so tender, it was basically falling off the bone. It was also wonderfully flavored. The rice had a strong dill flavor and had a lot of fava beans, which I'm not the biggest fan of but I know is traditional in this cuisine. I also tried my friend's chicken barg which was sensational. It was tender and juicy, and exploded with flavor in my mouth. Additionally, the interior of this restaurant is beautiful. Overall, I love Kasra and can't wait to come back!

لذیذ Khosh-mazeh! Met some friends for a Saturday lunch and was pleasantly delighted. Nestled in a busy plaza full of businesses and restaurants, the place was spacious and beautifully decorated. It was not packed but there was quite a lot of business and it was steady. Seated quickly. Our server was Ali, and he was a delight. Very helpful and pleasant. He was attentive but not overly in our space. My friends had been there before so they immediately ordered hummus. They brought us complimentary Taftoon bread and a bowl toppings. The bread came out piping hot and delicious and paired so well with the hummus. The hummus was delicious and fresh. Ordered the Kasra combo - choose two of either beef chenjeh, chicken barg, salmon, or shrimp. served with grilled vegetables, dill & fava bean basmati rice - so I chose the beef chenjeh, salmon and subbed basmati rice. I also ordered a half skewer of the chicken kabob. I knew I'd be talking home half of this for dinner. There is a cranberry rice my friend suggested but I was unsure and he gave me a taste of his and it is pretty fantastic. Next time. The beef chenjeh was very tasty. It was my favorite protein which is unlike me because I normally prefer chicken but this beef was flavorful, juicy and tender. The salmon was nicely cooked and tasty. The chicken kabob was grilled perfectly. It was tender but not overcooked. Everything paired nicely with the rice. Everything about this place was perfection. The atmosphere, decor, cleanliness, food quality and portion, staff and overall energy. Two people stopped to check on us (I think one might have been the owner and the other a manager) very subtle, not in your face but smooth and respectful. They both politely thanked us for coming. This is definitely a place on my list. Before I even got in the car, I was thinking about who I could bring next. I am sure I sat in the car and texted about 20 people before I even drove off. Will def be back. (I gave a small sample box to my 86 year old father who mostly eats Chinese food. He had never even heard of Persia (sorry) but he said the food was good and tender and he enjoyed it! If you know my dad, this was a major compliment)
